The UAE Government invite the most innovative and creative minds to find solutions that will improve people’s lives and provide positive technological solutions to modern day issues.
This Award is designed to offer the people of the world an opportunity to really make a difference. A commitment underlined by the significant prize fund.
There are three categories in which you can enter. One is for residents of the UAE, one for international applicants and one is reserved specially for employees of the UAE Government.
To enter, http://www.dronesforgood.ae/award, select register to the Award and create your profile. Once your profile is set up you can enter up to three submissions into the relevant competition category.
You must clearly indicate what sector your submission is intended for.
The International competition is dedicated to rewarding the most promising prototypes of future services that may benefit humanity at large.
Submissions must be able to demonstrate a working prototype that could conceivably be developed into a working system within the next 1 to 3 years.
The goal of the international competition is to highlight the most advanced research into UAVs and drones and accelerate their application in humanitarian, development and public service applications.
Timeline and Key Dates
The International competition has three phases:
Phase 1: Open Call – 11th of May to 1st of October, 2014
Phase 2: Semi-finals – 15th of October to 1st of December, 2014
Phase 3: Finals – 15th of December, 2014 to 15th of January, 2015
