Last week the European Commission initiated a public consultation with the purpose to assess the efficiency and accessibility of civil enforcement of intellectual property rights in the Member States.
Even though the consultation is open to all interested stakeholders, the Commission is in particular “seeking information from stakeholders that participated in civil proceedings concerning infringements of intellectual property rights, namely plaintiffs and defendants as well as from other parties involved in such proceedings.”
