Country: Egypt The main idea of the proposed project is “Cloud Computing Platform as a Service framework”. Infrastructure as a Service “IaaS” is no longer a challenge. Various commercial implementations such as Amazon and Rackspace as well as various open and closed source options now exist for implementing infrastructure clouds. The challenge now becomes, making effective and efficient use of those highly parallel on-demand computing resources to build and run highly scalable applications. Traditional analysis to such a problem would lead us to believe the solution is to invest into automating server configuration and management, on the other hand a more modern cloud-oriented thinking entails letting go of the traditional application stacks and embracing the “PaaS” (Platform as a Service) cloud computing model. A PaaS platform targets green-field applications that are specifically written to make use of the provided platform services. Example services to be provided by the proposed PaaS platform would be implementations of a shared asynchronous messaging-bus, scalable replicated nosql databases, scalable standard SQL databases, server deployment automation, server health monitoring and automatic failover, PaaS automatic load balancing and scaling, scalable caching layer. Those services are made available to the application, and through the usage of these APIs does the application reach the goals of running quickly, easily, and scaling to web-scale with minimal effort leveraging the provided platform.
