Proposal name: The Overlay Internet Project (TOIP)

Objective: The goal of the Overlay Internet Project (TOIP) is to research and develop the next generation internet, which aims to overcome the Internet’s inefficiencies by deploying an “over the top” peer to peer network. Our vision is that such a network will serve as the future Internet Infrastructure - a high-capacity Internet with new possible capabilities and applications without any additional investment in infrastructure.
