The European Commission has published its call for proposals Marie Curie Career Integration Grants (CIG), which is coming under the EU’s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).
The objective of the call is to reinforce the European Research Area (ERA) while countering the ‘brain drain’ from Europe to other third countries. It encourages researchers to establish themselves in a Member State or in an associated country, an action which is intended to improve considerably the applicants’ prospects for long term integration.
Researchers involved in all domains of research and technological development addressed under the EU treaty are eligible for financial assistance.
